Nel corso della Prima guerra mondiale subì un matrimonio combinato, poi si innamorò di un'altro uomo. Creando uno scandalo senza precedenti lasciò il marito, "disonorando" la famiglia. Ripudiata dal padre, fu da lui considerata come morta.
During the first world war she got wed by arranged marriage, then she fell for another man. Giving rise to unprecedented scandal, she left her husband, bringing “dishonour” on her family. She was then disowned by her father, who considered her as dead ever since.
