Lei é la straniera e quindi un "diverso". Diventa  Donna del sud per amore, e per amore porta una vera  rivoluzione in paese. 

She is a foreigner and therefore “someone different”. She turns into a Woman from the South for love, and for love she brings about a real revolution in the village.

La cupidigia nell’arraffare le eredità dei suoi genitori fu pari alla sua avarizia. Nel suo testamento non lasciò nulla ai suoi eredi. 

The greed in snatching at her parent’s inheritance was equal to her stinginess. In her will, she left her heirs with nothing.

Donna che per tutta la vita cercò di essere equa, giusta e imparziale. Un atteggiamento che scatenò la competizione, le gelosie, l'avidità dei propri figli, che cercarono senza successo di convidere le reciproche fortune. 

A woman who wanted to be equal, fair and impartial for her whole life. This attitude of hers incited competition, jealousy  and greed among her children, who unsuccessfully tried to share their reciprocal fortunes.
